Material and installation costs are comparatively low, because it is not heavy and are positioned and installed easily without the need for large mechanical equipments; It is easy to manage and handle; simple to cut and shape; it also bonds easily; it is moisture- resistant compared to wood; it has high strength despite its weight and not affected by vibration.

You can improve your room in a simple and inexpensive way with faux wood beams; you wont be able to tell the difference from real wood beams. Expanded polystyrene is also commonly used to make true to life faux stones, the moment these are coated with cement containing coats, voila! Its like the real thing and you would not distinguish it.
